    Can get 3.5% off Coles and woolies gift cards all year round at Macquarie with a free transaction account, shopback needs to try harder.

      Yes, but EG egift card with 5 + 1 = 6% cashback at Shopback beats 3.5% discount WW egift card at Macquarie.

      Macquarie is good for 3.5% discount Coles egift cards because better deals for Coles don't come up often.

      Thanks for mentioning that. I remember Macquarie removing the Coles gift cards in January but didn't realise they brought them back.

    Don't forget that EG gift cards do work at Woolworths for groceries too.

        The app doesn’t show the online redemption numbers unfortunately only the instore barcode

  • Bought a $50 EG gift card using my St George card. Base CB confirmed within minutes, still waiting for bonus CB after 4 hours.

    Strangely only Westpac listed as eligible for bonus cashback at the buying page.

    • I used both stg and wes both tracked for base discount

      But Only the westpac tracked for bonus

      STG still has not… Not even sure if we can lodge untracks for bonuses.. I took a screenshot just incase

        I have lodged a ticket but waiting for them to

          • @Poor Ass: Initiate a chat with the bot and ask to talk to human, it will ask a few questions and lodge a ticket for you.

  • I just bought a $200 EG egift card with Westpac card, and the standard and bonus cashback both tracked after 5 minutes.

  • Bought $500 EG with westpac and tracked straight away. Thanks to the other comments confirming it can be used at Woolworths.

  • Does anyone know if I can use the $5 promo credit from being a Shopback plus member along with an eligible Westpac card to pay for the EG card to still get the full 6% bonus?

  • Banner says BOM cards work but when you actually go to pay it doesn't come up as eligible, going to sit it out until they fix that.

    • No issue buying EG last night. Standard cashback and the Westpac bonus both tracked.

      • Found a work around. Go to gift cards on the front page of the app, not the Westpac section. Purchased as normal with no error.

    • I assume this also extends to Bank Of Melbourne and any other linked bank here, since my BoM didnt work either. I didnt see anyone's working in this post (except maybe Westpac), until after logging a ticket…

    • I raised a ticket and got this reply from that email address.

      ‘We would like to inform you that it may take up to 14 days for the Bonus Cashback to be tracked and verified in your account, provided you are eligible to receive it based on the program terms and conditions.

      If, after this 14-day period, you find that the Cashback has not been tracked in your account, we kindly request you to revert back to us with the following details:

      1) Order confirmation (screenshot or PDF file) that shows the payment method and card number used to make the payment.
      2) Bank statement (kindly ensure that it shows your card number)
      3) The first 6 digits and the last 4 digits of the card’

      So I have to wait 14 days to chase up a couple of dollars, then send all those details? This is all a bit ridiculous for a tiny amount of money. I won’t be bothering again in the future.

        The 14-day wait is in place to give the system time to process and confirm bonus Cashback automatically. Most of the time it does track without any issues. But if it doesn’t, the extra info helps us validate your eligibility securely with the partner (since bonuses are tied to specific payment methods).

        That said, I know it can feel like a lot of effort for a small reward — I’ll definitely pass this on to the team as feedback. We’re always working on making the process smoother! 😊

        Totally agree - Too much effort for a few dollars. If the card transaction occurred in ShopBack, why do the users have to provide the transaction details back to ShopBack again?

      Still waiting.

      Ticket logged on Sunday ~7am (morning after the purchase / CB stuff up).. back and forth with the Bot initially and now support emails that aren't gaining enough traction.

      Have provided several screenshots & including all of the info requested and yet getting asked for them again, like I never even sent them..

      Have already missed several cashback deals since, I have lost faith in the system that previously I had NO ISSUE WITH.

      Same linked card, same SB app & account, same process used, nothing has changed.

      Bought gift cards during very similar deals on 11th, 12th & 26th April - no problems at all.

        Got the bonus manually credited after lot of back and forth and sending multiple messages and screenshots. It the end it was totally not worth and frustrating, considering the time spent chasing up. Hope they improve support processes for technical faults at their end.
